He scored me an opening day slot at at a state conservation area known for dove hunting. As we took our assigned positions, an anti hunting group showed up across the road, behind us, and started using RC planes to keep the birds away. (This was before the hunter harassment laws.) As they buzzed overhead, there wasn't much we could do since it is illegal to shoot across a road. Then one of those bastards drifted too far in front of the shooting line. The plane disintegrated in a volley of flak. Everyone pocket their empties and played dumb as the laughing DOC officer went down the line and asked if anyone fired. After all, there's no bag limit on radio controlled airplanes. |
Great story, dang, sure wish I could have been THERE! _________________ When it comes to evil, to tolerate is to accommodate, to accommodate is to appease, and to appease is to concede defeat. |

LOL....Great story. We don't have those types here in AL. If so, they sure don't show up and try to stop anyone from hunting. I ended up taking about 25 birds all together. That's not bad considering I only hunted twice. _________________ Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film. |
