This cool little package was sold the other day at Tucson Guns, here are some pics. The Walther P-22 and TAC65 .22LR suppressor from Tactical Innovations Inc

With a simple mod to the foam cut out, the suppressor fits in the case as if it was made for it.

The Tactical Innovations thread adapter comes with a barrel nut to protect the threads while the suppressor is not installed

The Walther P-22 with it's action open while the suppressor is still on

What do you need to buy a suppressor? Come in to the shop and we can answer all your questions. But the short answer is.. Pass a background check and pay a $200 tax and just about anyone can own a suppressor in Arizona. You'll need to fill out the correct forms, with photos and fingerprints for the background check. Tucson Guns can help you with the whole process.

I really like that package and have looked at it a couple times in the past 6 months. I just can't bring myself to put down the $.

As a practice piece I think it is the best deal going and if I move from AK, I can see myself picking one up. Heck I may order one of the P22s with target barrel to start since ammo cost are crazy here and then if I move South add the can.

Nice article as always

Nicely done. I'd like to see a similar treatment to a Ruger MKII/III. Sounds like a fair amount of $$ machining though. Even though my MKII had a nasty FTF issue, I still loved it and wouldn't mind having another one. A suppressed one wi/subsonic ammo. should be quite stealthy. All you should hear is three rapid clicks everytime you pulled the trigger. Smile

You actually get more than a "click"! lol
There IS the chatter of the bolt slamming shut and the travel noise.
It is just not as identifiable as a detonation. Wink A Bear
